The Middle Atlantic SS is just the shelf for the job. At full extension, the ball-bearing sliders let the SS steel shelf extend to 13", providing you with a healthy 17.48" x 14.21" surface for up to 50 lbs. of gear. The SS shelf has been around for years, but when the engineers here at Sweetwater got their hands on this latest version, they were particularly impressed with its integrated friction locks, which keep the shelf firmly in place when it's completely extended or pushed all the way in.
